Chandrasekar S, a 2014-batch IAS officer of the Kerala cadre and Private Secretary to Vice President of India C P Radhakrishnan, has been prematurely repatriated to his parent cadre. The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet approved the repatriation with the condition of an “extended cooling-off” period.
The decision follows a request made by the Kerala government on June 18, 2026. Chandrasekar S has been directed to be relieved immediately from the Vice President’s Secretariat and report back to the Kerala cadre.
