New Delhi: The post of Private Secretary (Deputy Secretary level) to the Minister of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, Sarbananda Sonowal, presently held by Amit Kumar (IAS: 2012: BH), has been re-designated as Private Secretary at the Director level.
The re-designation has been approved for a period up to 20 August 2029. Amit Kumar’s central deputation tenure in the re-designated post is effective from 21 August 2024, as per the official notification.
