In a recent bureaucratic reshuffle, Amit Sharma, an officer of the Indian Railway Accounts Service (IRAS) from the 2011 batch, has been appointed as Director in the Department of Pension & Pensioners’ Welfare.
According to the official order, Amit Sharma will hold this position for a period of five years, beginning from the date he assumes charge or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
