Arvind Kumar Rawat (IRSS: 2008) has been appointed as Director in the Directorate of Sugarcane and Vegetable Oil, under the Department of Food & Public Distribution.
His appointment is for a period of five years, marking a significant step in his career. Mr. Rawat, an officer of the Indian Railway Stores Service (IRSS) from the 2008 batch, will bring his expertise and administrative experience to the role, contributing to the formulation and implementation of policies related to sugarcane and vegetable oil sectors—key components of India’s agricultural and food economy.
