As the Delhi Assembly elections approach, the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi (GNCTD) has reshuffled the responsibilities of five IAS officers. These officers include Bipul Pathak (1992), Sanjiv Kumar (1992), and Nandini Paliwal (2003), who were awaiting postings, along with A Anbarasu (1996) and Kumar Abhishek (2016), who were already serving in key roles within GNCTD.
The reshuffled officers and their new responsibilities are as follows:
Bipul Pathak (IAS: 1992: AGMUT) has been appointed as Additional Chief Secretary (ACS), Industries, and given the additional charge of Chairman of Delhi State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (DSIIDC) and Managing Director of Delhi Khadi & Village Industries Board (DKVIB).
Sanjiv Kumar (IAS: 1992: AGMUT) has been posted as ACS-cum-Commissioner (Food & Civil Supply), along with the additional charge of Chairman of Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DPCC) and CMD of Delhi State Civil Supplies Corporation (DSCSC).
A Anbarasu (IAS: 1996: AGMUT), currently Principal Secretary for Home and PWD, will now also handle the additional charge of Principal Secretary, Information & Publicity.
Nandini Paliwal (IAS: 2003: AGMUT) has been appointed as Secretary, Higher Education & Training & Technical Education, with the additional charge of Managing Director, Delhi Co-operative Housing Finance Corporation (DCHFC).
Kumar Abhishek (IAS: 2016: AGMUT), currently Director of Higher Education and Director of Training & Technical Education (TTE), will also take on the additional charge of General Manager of Delhi Consumer’s Co-operative Wholesale Store (DCCWS) and GM of Delhi State Civil Supplies Corporation (DSCSC).
