New Delhi : The Search-cum-selection-committee on Tuesday selected Manoj Kumar Dubey (IRAS: 1993) for the post of Chairman & Managing Director of Indian Railway Finance Corporation (IRFC). He is working as Director (Finance), CONCOR.
The CMD post of IRFC has been under an ad-hoc arrangement for over two years with Shelly Verma (Director, Finance, IRFC) as interim CMD.
Subject to requisite clearances and ACC ratification M. K. Dubey would be the new CMD of IRFC; a Miniratna Public Sector Enterprise under the administrative control of the Ministry of Railways. IRFC a dedicated funding arm of Indian Railways. It was set up in December 1986 for mobilising funds from domestic and overseas markets to meet the pre-dominant portion of extra-budgetary resources requirement of Indian Railways.
