NBCC (India) Limited has been appointed to spearhead the SIDBI Vashi Redevelopment Project, with a total estimated cost of ₹142 crore. The scope of work includes the demolition of existing structures, securing various No Objection Certificates (NOCs), and obtaining necessary approvals from local authorities.
Key responsibilities of NBCC will also encompass:
Conducting pre-construction activities, including topographical and geographical surveys.
Developing final concepts and designs.
Managing tendering and contracting processes.
Selecting contractors and other agencies for the project.
This initiative follows a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between NBCC and SIDBI in 2023, which outlined planning, design, architectural concepts, and specifications for the project. The agreement enhances the collaboration between the two organizations, building on their previous commitments to development works across SIDBI properties nationwide.
The redevelopment aims to modernize SIDBI’s infrastructure, fostering its operations and growth across the country. Both NBCC and SIDBI are dedicated to creating modern, energy-efficient, and eco-friendly buildings, aligning with India’s broader goals of sustainable development.
