Nine IAS officers have been given new portfolios in Punjab. Alok Shekhar has been appointed as ACS, Jail, while Tajveer Singh takes over as ACS, Local Government and Ajoy Sharma was made ACS, Tourism & Cultural Affairs. Similarly, Rahul Tiwari will take over as Administrative Secretary, Science, Technology and Environment; Kumar Rahul as Administrative Secretary, Health & Family Welfare; Mrs Gurpreet Kaur Sapra as Secretary, Personnel; Dilraj Singh as Administrative Secretary; Rural Developments and Panchayats; Amit Dhaka as Administrative Secretary, Planning and Pradeep Kumar is now Commissioner, Jalandhar Division.
