Prasanth M S (IAS: 2015: Tamil Nadu cadre) has been appointed as Deputy Secretary in the Cabinet Secretariat for a period of four years. The appointment has been made by the Government of India under the Central Staffing Scheme.
An officer of the 2015 batch of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Prasanth M S will take up key responsibilities in the Cabinet Secretariat, which plays a crucial role in coordinating and facilitating the decision-making process of the Union Government.
The appointment is expected to strengthen administrative coordination and policy implementation at the highest levels of the Central Government. Prasanth M S will serve in the position for a tenure of four years from the date of assuming charge or until further orders.
