Subodh Kumar Singh, an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer from the 1997 batch of Chhattisgarh cadre, has been repatriated to his parent cadre, following a request from the State Government. Singh was serving as the Additional Secretary and Financial Advisor in the Ministry of Steel prior to this decision. The repatriation comes as part of the standard administrative process, which allows officers to return to their home state upon request by the concerned state government.
