N M Mylvahana has been promoted and posted as IGP, Enforcement, Chennai
The state government has issued transfer orders for 48 IPS officers across the state while promoting 17. According to the order, IPS officer R Tamilchandran, who is currently IG, Crime Against Women and Children (CWC), Chennai, has been promoted to ADGP. He will continue to be in CWC.
V Jeyashri, who was SP-I, CWC, Chennai, has now been promoted and posted as IGP, Operations. N M Mylvahana has been promoted and posted as IGP, Enforcement, Chennai and S Rajendiran has been made IGP/Addl, Commissioner of Police, Headquarter & Traffic, Avadi. Mr. Rajendiran was serving as DIG, CID.
Besides that, 8 district also got new SPs. The list includes Kancheepuram, Villupuram and Madurai.
