The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the extension in the tenure of Ms. Dipti Mohil Chawla (IDAS: 1995), currently serving as Additional Secretary in the Department of Defence, Ministry of Defence. Her tenure has been extended up to May 6, 2026.
Ms. Chawla, a senior officer of the Indian Defence Accounts Service (1995 batch), has been playing a crucial role in defence finance and policy matters. This extension allows her to continue contributing to the strategic initiatives of the Ministry at a critical time for national security and defence modernization.
